No, I’m not dead.

I realize that I haven’t posted anything on this site since July of last year, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy. I was at Milwaukee Zine Fest again last November, and I have posted a portfolio of my work from the Racine Zoo under Portfolio, plus I am working on some other projects as well. I am the kind of person that doesn’t like to show anything until it is finished or near finished, but I wanted to at least update anyone on what I’m currently working on:

-I am still working on Drannik & Lizzep #7, but it is taking me a lot longer than I thought it would. I have finished the second chapter, and am starting work on the final chapter because I want to get the ending down before I work on the rest of the story. Basically, what Jeff Smith did for Bone.

-I will be releasing an album of music in the next while or so. I just have to get the mixes approved from my audio engineer friend before I make that public. In the meantime, that will appear on my Bandcamp page: buskers.bandcamp.com

-I am also, on the side, compiling a collection of my old Negligence comics from years ago into a new book collection.

There are other things I’m working on as well, but these are my main projects at the moment. Just a quick update this time.

Progress on “The Journal of Mischa”

“The Journal of Mischa”, a comic I am making in conjunction with NAMI of Racine, is coming along swimmingly. The cover has been finished for a while and is on display on this very website. The pages have been sketched out and I am working on inking them as I type this. The grant process has begun, and I’m hoping it goes through when the time comes to send it. Below are a few screen captures of what has been done so far.

Updates

Drannik & Lizzep T-shirt Design

Some brief updates: I’ve added some more stuff to the portfolio section of the site, including the image above. Yes, I am planning on making Drannik & Lizzep Ts to support the comic book, but it might be a while before any are printed off.

In the meantime, Meta Con is coming up in a month, so if you are in the Minneapolis area and want to meet me/purchase some comics, that would be the perfect time to do so.

Finally, Drannik & Lizzep has returned to the Kindle store. If you want to purchase a copy for your ebook collection, click the link in the previous sentence.

Time once again for a portfolio update, plus some news

I’ve updated the portfolio again. This time, I’ve added some Drannik & Lizzep promotional images under Comic Pages, and I’ve added two images to Illustrations (one of them featured above).

Also, I will be in Kenosha at Rockhead’s Comics and Games on Saturday, May 5th (also known as Free Comic Book Day) selling copies of Drannik & Lizzep #2. If you are in the area, stop by and pick up a comic book.
